while we were in missouri for allison's wedding, i grabbed some twinkies for the kiddos for the first time in their lives to see if they would like them. well. they did not like them. so i had to eat them. all.

getting back together
in october my dear dear friend, Allison (right) married the love of her life. she invited us all to attend and snap photos. at the wedding also came our friend priscilla (left). the three of us all lived in hawaii in 2002 and spent many wonderful times together. so nice getting back together!
out in the field
in september before eric left for Bahrain, I took a beloved trip to illinois and spent some hours behind my camera with aunt kim. she recently got a canon rebel and was so excited to get out in the field.

to the wedding
in between our quick trips to the beach and visitors at home, we attended a family wedding in lousiville, ky. outside of our hotel was this cool old tractor! we snapped a few shots and headed to the wedding.

eric's mom, judy, found time to come visit this summer. while she was here, she taught me how to make a homemade lemon meringue pie. oh.my.goodness. delish!
